The FileMaker family

At MoleSoft, FileMaker Pro 9 was a natural choice as a main tool for our bespoke solution development. We have been developing custom solutions in the UK with FileMaker since version 2.0 (Mac only). Now well over 50% of our installations are on PCs and we have FileMaker server able to supply up to 250 users at any one time. We have always been able to rely on the software, with clients needing very little support once our solutions are delivered.

Today, with more than 10 million units of FileMaker Pro in distribution worldwide, FileMaker is used in every part of the private and public sectors worldwide, including:

• 70 of the Fortune 100 companies
• Within the top 250 school districts in the U.S.
• 49 of the top 50 undergraduate universities in the U.S.
• 121 of the top 126 doctoral universities in the U.S.
• More than 4,000 government agencies and institutions in the U.S.

The latest version Filemaker 8.5 is very new but last year Filemaker 7 did very well with industry awards: and with it's extra features such as web viewer, PDF and Excel document creation we expect FileMaker 8.5 to do at least as well.
